Built by Jagannath Prasad Tiwari using lime and bricks, it was a three-story structure, unique for its era.

On January 14, 1931, British Political Agent Lord Fisher fired shots at the house, but not a single crack appeared.

The eighth generation of the Tiwari family resides here; no major repairs have been needed in two centuries.

The house provides natural cooling in summer and prevents water seepage during rains, showcasing ancient construction strength.
