Artist Kotesh Paints Shiva Purana on a Tiny Conch for Mahashivaratri

• Nandyal artist Chintalapalle Kotesh created miniature paintings depicting Lord Shiva's glory on a small conch for Mahashivaratri.
• Using acrylic paints and micro brushes, Kotesh spent 5 hours illustrating divine plays on the conch's tiny surface.
• The artwork incorporates themes like Samudra Manthan, Shiva consuming Halahala poison (Neelakantha), and Ardhanarishvara philosophy.
• It also features the wedding of Shiva and Parvati, with Brahma and Vishnu subtly depicted, and the Dwadasha Jyotirlingas.
• Kotesh, a 'Kalaratna' awardee, stated his inspiration came from the mythological event of Shiva consuming poison through a conch.
