Simhadri Appanna to be Groom: Matchmaking Ceremony on March 3rd

• Sri Simhachala Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, affectionately called Appanna Swamy, will be the groom for the annual Kalyana Mahotsavam.
• The "Pellichupulu" (matchmaking/engagement) ceremony will be held grandly on March 3rd.
• The Dolotsavam (swing festival) will be celebrated on March 3rd, organized by the archaka family under EO J. Venkat Rao.
• Due to a lunar eclipse, all rituals will conclude before 8 AM; the deity will be worshipped early morning, brought down the hill, and proceed to Sri Paidithalli Ammavari temple.
• Devotees will not have darshan on March 3rd, and all arjita sevas are cancelled due to the lunar eclipse and subsequent temple closure.
