A tiger, previously captured and released into Papikondalu forest, has returned to the Rampachodavaram area within a week.

The tiger had caused sleepless nights for a month, killing livestock before its initial capture near Anaparthi and transfer to Visakha Zoo.

Equipped with a GPS tracking device, the tiger's movements are being monitored by forest officials.

DFO Shivakumar confirmed the tiger is 10 km from Rampachodavaram, urging farmers and residents to be cautious, especially at night.

Officials are continuously monitoring the tiger and will take further action if it doesn't return peacefully to the forest.
