Visakhapatnam: Grand Sattemma Thalli Jatara Begins; Sare Procession Draws Devotees
•The annual Jatara of Sri Sattemma Thalli Maridimamba, believed to be Simhadri Nathudu's sister and a village boundary deity, commenced in Visakhapatnam.
•A grand Sare procession was held on Friday evening as part of the goddess's birthday celebrations, attracting devotees from 14 villages.
•Special oblations, Abhishekam, Panchaharathi Seva, and other spiritual programs were performed, filling the Srinivas Nagar area with devotion.
•The main festival on Saturday will begin with Suprabhata Seva, offering darshan from 6 AM to 9 PM, along with Annasamaraadhana.
•The event was organized by the temple committee under Honorary President Gantla Srinubabu and President P. Venkatrao, with special arrangements for devotees.
