MG's Mega Plan: Plug-in Hybrid SUV Spotted, Launch Expected by 2026

• JSW MG Motor India's new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV test mule, codenamed '520' and based on the Wuling Starlight 560, was spotted on Indian roads.
• This will be MG's first mass-market PHEV SUV, positioned above the Hector, with a potential launch by October or December 2026.
• The SUV boasts a boxy silhouette, measuring 4745 mm in length, making it the largest in its segment, and features dual-pod projector LED headlights.
• The interior will be tech-oriented with a 12.8-inch touchscreen, 8.8-inch digital driver display, and generous cabin space with 5-seater and 7-seater options.
• It will feature Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and a 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with an electric motor, offering a 100-125 km pure electric range and 25 KMPL mileage.
