Bihar Wheat Farmers Get Relief: Online Registration for Procurement Begins, MSP Hiked to Rs 2585

• Online registration for wheat procurement for Rabi marketing season 2026-27 has started from January 21, 2026, on dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in.
• Farmers previously registered do not need to re-apply, but can update land or nominated member details.
• The Minimum Support Price (MSP) for wheat has been increased to Rs 2585 per quintal, a hike of Rs 160 from last year.
• Payments will be made within 48 hours via PFMS directly into farmers' bank accounts.
• Farmers can sell wheat at PACS or Vyapar Mandal; procurement is expected to begin around April 1, 2026.
