CM Nitish-honored 'Mango Man' Kalidas Banerjee grows 26 varieties, offers free training

Kalidas Banerjee, known as 'Mango Man' and honored by CM Nitish Kumar, cultivates 26 mango varieties on 10 acres in Katihar, Bihar.
•
He provides free training to hundreds of farmers on scientific mango cultivation, including modern irrigation and pest management.
•
Banerjee developed three new mango varieties: Chittaranjan Aam (registered), Swami Vivekananda Aam, and Modi Aam.
•
The Government of India recognized his innovation with a 50,000 rupee cash prize and a certificate of appreciation.
