•Assistant Engineer Roshan Kumar of District Education Project in West Champaran arrested by Special Vigilance Unit.
•Caught accepting a 5 lakh rupee bribe, part of a 10% commission demand for a 57 lakh rupee project.
•A search of his rented house in Belbagh uncovered 42.5 lakh rupees in cash and a smartwatch.
•Bribes were demanded for passing bills related to submersible pump installation and renovation work in schools.
•Legal action initiated under the Prevention of Corruption Act; investigation into a larger network is ongoing.
