Doriganj-Chirand Overbridge to Transform Chhapra, Connect UP, Nepal, Ease Traffic

• The Doriganj-Chirand Road Over Bridge (ROB) is nearing completion, promising to alleviate severe traffic congestion in Chhapra.
• The overbridge will divert heavy vehicles entering Chhapra from Ara and Doriganj directly onto a 4-lane bypass, bypassing the city center.
• It will connect Chhapra to various districts in Bihar (Ara, Patna, Muzaffarpur) and provide two routes to Uttar Pradesh, also facilitating access to Nepal via Muzaffarpur.
• Approximately 95% of the construction work is complete, with an estimated cost of 92.16 crore rupees, and inauguration expected soon.
