Major Fake Fuel Racket Busted in Bihar's Motihari; 5 Arrested, 9600 Liters Seized

• Bihar Police busted a large syndicate manufacturing fake petrol and diesel in Motihari district, Ramgarhwa police station area, near the India-Nepal border.
• Five members of the syndicate – Shashi Kumar, Bhuvan Kumar, Hakib Ansari, Shyam Babu Kumar, and Mahesh Kumar – all residents of Raxaul, were arrested.
• Authorities recovered 9600 liters of fake petrol and diesel, along with chemicals and equipment used in its production.
• The syndicate mixed chemicals to produce counterfeit fuel and supplied it to the market as genuine.
• SDPO Manish Anand confirmed ongoing raids to apprehend other individuals connected to the illegal network.
