• Project under Gatishakti Scheme, proposed by Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram.
• Current 150 KM journey to Jharkhand will reduce to just 15 KM.
• Currently, people cross Son River via makeshift vehicles and boats, a long and inconvenient route.
• Tender issued for Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation for the bridge.
