North Bihar gripped by severe cold: Red Alert, school timings changed
- •North Bihar districts, including West Champaran, are experiencing severe cold day conditions due to cold winds, dense fog, and low temperatures.
- •West Champaran recorded a maximum of 15.4°C and a minimum of 13°C, with no sunlight throughout the day.
- •District Magistrate Tarunjot Singh has ordered all government and private schools in West Champaran to operate only between 09:00 AM and 04:30 PM, exempting board exam classes.
- •IMD has issued a Red Alert for West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and Sheohar due to dense fog and cold.
