Samastipur Hospitals Go Digital: New Queue System Promises Relief for Patients

Bihar government introduces digital queue management system in all CHCs and Samastipur District Hospital.

Patients will receive a printed token with their serial number and doctor's name at OPD registration.
•
Electronic token display devices and public address systems will announce patient turns, eliminating long queues.
•
14 additional token display devices for CHCs and 29 for district hospitals, with POS printers, are planned.
•
The system aims to reduce crowds, save time, and provide relief, especially for the elderly, women, and seriously ill patients.
