Hormuz Disruption: Telangana, Uttarakhand, J&K Face Widening Export Risks

• Over $34 billion (8% of India's total exports in 2024) are at high risk, with more than half passing through the strait.
• Telangana is most exposed, with nearly $6.4 billion of exports (one-third of its outbound shipments) linked to Hormuz, primarily aircraft parts.
• Uttarakhand and J&K face disproportionately high risks, with over 16% of their total export baskets affected.
