Holi Travel Boost: Indian Railways Redevelops 1337 Stations for Easier Journeys

Indian Railways is redeveloping 1337 stations nationwide to facilitate easier travel, especially for the upcoming Holi festival.
•
Under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, 157 stations are in Uttar Pradesh, the highest number among all states.
•
Over 100 stations have already been redeveloped and dedicated to the public; a target of 100 more is set for completion by year-end.
•
Nearly 200 stations under the Amrit Bharat scheme are expected to be ready by the end of this year.
•
Key states include Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab, with numerous stations undergoing transformation.
