India Unveils Rs 17 Lakh Crore Infrastructure Push via PPP; Roads Get Major Share

• India to launch 852 infrastructure projects worth Rs 17 lakh crore under a three-year Public-Private Partnership (PPP) pipeline.
• Central ministries will execute 232 projects (Rs 13.15 lakh crore), while 20 states/UTs will undertake 620 projects (Rs 3.84 lakh crore).
• The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways leads with 108 projects budgeted at Rs 8.76 lakh crore, marking the highest expenditure.
• Significant investments are also planned for Power (Rs 3.4 lakh crore), Railways (Rs 30,904 crore), and Civil Aviation (Rs 2,262 crore).
• Andhra Pradesh has the largest share with 270 projects (Rs 1.16 lakh crore), followed by Tamil Nadu with 70 projects (Rs 87,640 crore).
