•IRCTC's new e-pantry meal booking service, launched in April 2025, has seen over 65,000 meals booked across 25 Mail/Express trains.
•Lunch is the most ordered meal with over 15,000 bookings, followed by breakfast and dinner (over 17,000 combined).
•The Nizamuddin Bengaluru Sampark Kranti Express recorded the highest orders, totaling around 8,300 meals.
•Passengers can pre-book meals online via www.irctc.co.in, receiving a Meal Verification Code (MVC) for seat delivery.
•The service ensures digital payments, full refunds for undelivered meals, and enhances travel convenience.
