Maharashtra Hikes DA by 3% for Employees, Pensioners Ahead of Holi

Maharashtra government increases Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3% for state employees and pensioners.
•
New DA rate will be 58%, effective from July 2025.
•
Decision benefits approximately 5.16 lakh government employees and 8.72 lakh pensioners.
•
Increased DA to be paid in cash from this month; arrears from July-Oct 2025 to be paid in March 2026.
•
Kerala government also recently approved a 10% DA hike, increasing it from 25% to 35%.
