DIIs Propel Nifty 285 Pts Up with Rs 5,153 Cr Buy Amid FII Selling

•Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) net sold Indian equities worth Rs 3,753 crore on March 5, 2026.
•Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) net bought shares worth Rs 5,153 crore, offsetting FII selling pressure.
•Nifty recovered 285 points, settling at 24,765, after three consecutive days of decline.
•Metals, Consumer Durables, and Auto sectors led the gains, while Midcaps and Smallcaps also saw significant rallies.
•Year-to-date, FIIs have been net sellers of Rs 54,334 crore, contrasted by DIIs' net buying of Rs 1,21,376 crore.
