DIIs Propel Nifty 285 Pts Up with Rs 5,153 Cr Buy Amid FII Selling

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) net sold Indian equities worth Rs 3,753 crore on March 5, 2026.
•
Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) net bought shares worth Rs 5,153 crore, offsetting FII selling pressure.
•
Nifty recovered 285 points, settling at 24,765, after three consecutive days of decline.
•
Metals, Consumer Durables, and Auto sectors led the gains, while Midcaps and Smallcaps also saw significant rallies.
•
Year-to-date, FIIs have been net sellers of Rs 54,334 crore, contrasted by DIIs' net buying of Rs 1,21,376 crore.
