L&T, Nvidia Partner to Build India's Largest Gigawatt-Scale AI Factory

• Larsen & Toubro (L&T) shares rose 1% after announcing a partnership with Nvidia to construct India's largest Gigawatt-scale AI factory.
• The venture, under the India AI Mission, aims to establish sovereign, scalable NVIDIA AI factory infrastructure, reinforcing India's position as a global AI powerhouse.
• The partnership integrates L&T's engineering and infrastructure expertise with Nvidia's AI infrastructure, including GPUs, CPUs, networking, and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software stack.
• L&T will develop a gigawatt-scale AI data center factory, providing AI-ready capacity for high-density workloads, with plans to scale NVIDIA GPU cluster deployment up to 30 MW in Chennai and 40 MW in Mumbai.
• This AI factory model will deliver advanced AI services to various sectors, including manufacturing, energy, financial services, healthcare, and public services, enabling predictable performance and security.
