• Nifty Private Bank was the biggest sectoral loser, declining 0.7 percent.
• Nifty Pharma, Nifty IT, and Nifty Bank each fell by 0.6 percent.
• Nifty Metal, PSU Bank, Auto, and FMCG indices also saw declines of 0.5 percent each.
