Nagaur Couple's Dairy Success: Earning ₹12,000 Per Animal While Employed
- •Ramesh Kumar, an M.Sc. B.Ed. and Senior Teacher, along with his wife Kesar Devi Khileri, started a dairy farm in Malsisar village, Nagaur.
- •They launched their dairy farm in March 2024 and have since grown it to over 40 HF breed cows.
- •The couple focuses on a local diet for their animals, including groundnut fodder, jaggery, carom seeds, oil cake, maize, and balanced feed.
- •They produce and sell value-added products like pure desi ghee, milk, curd, and paneer, rather than just raw milk.
- •The farm generates a net profit of ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per animal monthly, and Ramesh Kumar has been honored with the Progressive Farmer Scheme award.
