Parth Jindal Appointed Chairman of Akzo Nobel India

• Akzo Nobel India Ltd announced the immediate appointment of Parth Jindal as its Chairman.
• The appointment is subject to shareholders' approval.
• Parth Jindal is currently the Managing Director of JSW Paints Ltd & JSW Cements Ltd.
• JSW Paints acquired a majority stake in AkzoNobel India last year in a Rs 12,915-crore deal, becoming its promoter.
• The board also re-designated Rajiv Rajgopal as "Joint Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer" effective January 9, 2026, and appointed Shantanu Maharaj Khosla as an independent additional director.
