Housing Price Growth Slows to 6% in Top 8 Cities, Sales Hit 3-Year Low in 2025
- •Housing price growth in India's top eight cities moderated to 6% in 2025, a significant drop from 17% in 2024, with sales reaching a three-year low.
- •Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) saw a sharp decline in price growth to 4% from 18%, while Pune's growth plummeted to 1% from 16%.
- •Delhi-NCR's exceptional 49% price surge in 2024 eased to 6% in 2025, and Chennai's prices remained flat after a 16% rise.
