RIL O2C Revenue Jumps 8.4% to Rs 1.62 Lakh Crore, EBITDA Up 14.6%
- •Reliance Industries Ltd's oil-to-chemicals (O2C) business reported an 8.4% revenue increase to Rs 1.62 lakh crore in the December quarter.
- •O2C EBITDA surged 14.6% to Rs 16,507 crore, driven by higher transportation fuel cracks and sulphur realisation, despite chemical margin weakness.
- •Jio-bp expanded its fuel retailing network by 14% to 2,125 outlets, boosting high-speed diesel and motor spirit volumes significantly.
- •The Oil & Gas segment's revenue declined 8.4% to Rs 5,833 crore, with EBITDA down 12.7% due to lower KGD6 volumes/prices and higher maintenance costs.
- •RIL plans to continue developing the domestic downstream market, expand Jio-bp's footprint, and focus on high-value segments.
Why It Matters: RIL's O2C business showed robust growth with increased revenue and EBITDA, while Oil & Gas faced declines.
