Tomato Price Crash: Andhra Farmers Sell for Rs 1.5/kg, Appeal for Help Amidst Crisis
•
Tomato prices in East Godavari and Kakinada districts, Andhra Pradesh, have plummeted to as low as Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 per kilogram.
•
Farmers are distressed, unable to cover even auto fare for transporting tomatoes to Tuni Market Yard, considering abandoning crops in fields.
