Anand Mohan appointed Tihar DG; JNU alumnus with PM security experience

• IPS Anand Mohan, a 1994 batch officer, has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of Tihar Jail.
• He previously served as the Director General of Police (DGP) of Arunachal Pradesh and is an AGMUT cadre officer.
• Anand Mohan completed his post-graduation in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
• His extensive career includes serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Prime Minister's security detail.
• He also held key roles in Delhi Police, Puducherry, and CISF, now taking on a significant responsibility at Tihar Jail.
