•Apoorva Verma, an ACP in Delhi Police, achieved All India Rank 42 in the UPSC 2025 examination.
•An alumna of DPS Bokaro and NIT Manipur (B.Tech), she hails from Bokaro, Jharkhand.
•This was her third attempt to become an IAS officer, having previously secured the DANIPS cadre in 2020.
•Her father, Ajit Kumar Prasad Verma, retired from Bokaro Steel Plant; her mother is Abha Verma.
