Delhi University's 102nd Convocation: VP Awards Degrees to 1.2 Lakh Students

Delhi University held its 102nd convocation ceremony on February 28, awarding degrees to over 120,000 students.
•
Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan was the chief guest, releasing digital degrees and emphasizing research relevant to Indian needs.
•
A total of 120,408 students received degrees, including regular, NCWEB, and SOL students, with 60,973 female recipients.
•
734 PhD degrees were awarded, with the highest in Arts Faculty, and 132 gold/silver medals, over 70% to women.
•
VP urged DU to advance in global rankings, aiming for top 300 in two years and eventually becoming the world's number one university.
