RPSC RAS Syllabus Overhauled: Sports-Yoga Module Removed, Law & Management Weightage Up

• RPSC has significantly revised the syllabus for the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination, effective for RAS 2026.
• The 20-mark Sports and Yoga module has been removed from the RAS Prelims, replaced by provisions of the Rajasthan Examination Act 2022.
• The Mains exam sees increased weightage for Law and Management sections, with all 2-mark questions eliminated.
• The number of 5-mark and 10-mark questions has been increased across papers.
• Paper IV (General Hindi and English) now has three parts: Hindi (90 marks), English (70 marks), and an essay section (40 marks) where candidates choose one topic from six.

Why It Matters: RPSC has updated the RAS syllabus, removing Sports-Yoga from Prelims and restructuring Mains with new weightages.
