52 Maoists Surrender in Bijapur, Rs 1.41 Crore Reward on Their Heads

• 52 Maoists, including DVCM, PPCM, and ACM members, surrendered in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, under the 'Poonam Margam' campaign.
• A total reward of Rs 1.41 crore was declared on the surrendered cadres, comprising 21 women and 31 men.
• Each surrendered individual received immediate assistance of Rs 50,000 under the government's rehabilitation policy.
• Since January 1, 2024, 824 Maoists have returned to the mainstream in Bijapur district, with 1126 arrested and 223 killed.
• Recently, 26 hardcore Naxals, including 7 women, also surrendered in Sukma, carrying a reward of Rs 64 lakh.
