Chhattisgarh Cabinet Approves SOG Formation, Cloud First Policy, and Key Development Initiatives

• Chhattisgarh Cabinet, led by CM Vishnu Deo Sai, approved the formation of a Special Operations Group (SOG) with 44 posts to counter terrorist threats and major incidents.
• 100 new posts were sanctioned for the district-level Anti-Narcotics Task Force to combat drug-related issues.
• 35 completed residential colonies from Chhattisgarh Housing Board and Raipur Development Authority will be handed over to municipal corporations and municipalities for better civic amenities.
• The 'Chhattisgarh Cloud First Policy' and the Chhattisgarh Innovation and Startup Promotion Policy 2025-26 received cabinet approval.
• District collectors were granted authority to allocate government land, and a mobile tower scheme was approved to improve network coverage.
