Absconding Offender Evades Police for 1.5 Years, Finally Arrested in Noida

•Delhi Police's Dwarka District team arrested Rakesh Kumar Bansal, a proclaimed offender, after a 50 km chase.
•Bansal, 66, had been evading trial in an NI Act case for about 1.5 years, constantly changing locations.
•He was declared a proclaimed offender by Dwarka Court on July 24, 2024, for failing to appear.
•Police apprehended him from a rented house in Sector-51, Noida, following a tip-off.
•The arrest is part of a special campaign against absconding offenders in Dwarka district.
