Fake IPS Swindles 40 Lakh from Woman in Digital Arrest Scam, Two Arrested

• A Delhi housewife was digitally arrested for 3 months by a fake IPS officer, Raghav Mittal, who accused her of Aadhaar misuse.
• The fraudsters forced her to give daily attendance on WhatsApp video calls and threatened to jail her family if she spoke to anyone.
• Under duress, the woman transferred 40 lakh rupees, her life savings, to accounts specified by the scammers.
• Delhi Police Cyber Cell arrested Aneesh and Mani Singh, who used shell companies like 'Vrindakart' to route the swindled money.
• Investigations revealed 190 cyber complaints against the gang, with approximately 100 crore rupees defrauded nationwide.
