Next Solar Eclipse on Aug 12: India Won't See It, No Sutak Period Valid
•
The next solar eclipse of 2026 will occur on August 12, as confirmed by Ujjain astrologer Acharya Anand Bhardwaj.
•
This annular solar eclipse will begin at 9:04 PM IST, making it night in India, hence it will not be visible.
•
Due to non-visibility, the Sutak period will not be applicable in India; temples and daily activities will continue normally.
•
The eclipse will be mainly visible in Europe, Russia, Canada, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Arctic, France, Britain, and Italy.
•
Precautions for viewing solar eclipses include using certified solar filter glasses and never looking directly with naked eyes.
