CEC Gyanesh Kumar, on day two of his Bengal visit, affirmed commitment to violence-free elections after visiting Belur Math and Dakshineswar.

He spent 45 minutes at Belur Math, speaking with Principal Maharaj Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, then offered prayers at Dakshineswar Kali Temple.

The full Election Commission bench, including Sukbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, is on a three-day visit to West Bengal.
