EC Settles 15 Lakh Voter Complaints; First Supplementary List Due Next Week

Election Commission to publish the first phase supplementary voter list within next week.
•
Nearly 15 lakh complaints under adjudication have been settled by judicial officers.
•
National Election Commission may announce the state assembly election schedule by Sunday or Monday.
•
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar confirmed the supplementary list will be published as per Supreme Court directive and uploaded online.
•
17 judges from Bankura and Purulia reassigned to other districts to settle complaints from March 16, as adjudication work there is almost complete.
