•57-year-old Hamida Khatoon's body found wrapped in a sack by sanitation workers in Surat's Amroli-Kosad area.
•Post-mortem revealed severe head injuries and pressure marks on face, nose, and throat; hands and feet were tied.
•Police estimate the murder occurred approximately 30 hours before the body was discovered.
•Hamida Khatoon lived in the Kosad housing complex with her two sons, Mohammed Parvekh Alam Yunus Mansuri and his brother; family originally from Bihar.
•DCP Lakhdhirsinh Zala confirmed the investigation; police are scanning CCTV footage and have formed teams to find the culprits.
