PU rocked by protests over RSS speakers; students detained, campus turns police cantonment

•Students protested the invitation of RSS's Banveer Singh and BJP's Iqbal Singh Lalpura as main speakers, alleging "saffronization" and imposition of RSS agenda.
•Heavy police force deployed; students attempting to reach the venue were stopped, leading to scuffles and detentions.
•Female students inside the hall chanted slogans against Modi and were dispersed and detained; others outside also detained after Lalpura's exit.
