Himachal RDG Grant Row: Congress Claims Half of BJP's Funds, Accuses Misuse

• Himachal CM Sukhu states BJP government received Rs 54,296 crore in RDG over five years, while Congress received Rs 17,563 crore in three years.
• Sukhu alleges BJP misused funds for extravagance, political gain, and free schemes instead of improving the state's economy.
• BJP government also received Rs 16,000 crore in GST compensation, which was not used to improve the state's financial condition.
• BJP left a debt of Rs 76,185 crore, an increase of Rs 28,000 crore in five years, and opened 900+ institutions without budget provisions.
• Congress government is now investing Rs 3,000 crore in hospital modernization and Rs 1,300 crore in health services under JICA Phase-2.
