ED: Mamata Banerjee Took All Documents from I-PAC Office Before Seizure

  • The Enforcement Directorate (ED) informed the Calcutta High Court that no materials were seized from the I-PAC office during raids.
  • Additional Solicitor General SV Raju stated that Mamata Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress took away all documents and devices.
  • Justice Suvra Ghosh noted that the panchnama confirmed no seizure was made from I-PAC or its director Prateek Jain on January 8.
  • The ED conducted searches at 10 locations linked to I-PAC in connection with an alleged coal smuggling and money laundering case.
  • The ED alleged Mamata Banerjee entered Pratik Jain's residence on Loudon Road, Kolkata, during the raids.

Why It Matters: ED claims Mamata Banerjee removed all evidence from I-PAC office, preventing any seizure during raids.
