•The test, conducted by the Strategic Forces Command (SFC), validated all operational and technical parameters, reaffirming India's deterrence posture.
•Agni-3 is an indigenously developed, two-stage, solid-fuelled IRBM with a strike capability of 3,000-3,500 km.
•In service with the SFC since 2011, it can carry a 1,500 kg payload and an estimated 200-300 kiloton warhead.
•The test highlights India's commitment to maintaining a credible minimum deterrent in a complex regional security environment.
