Jinxed Sham Nath Marg Bungalow to be Demolished for New Office Complex
•A colonial-era bungalow at 33, Sham Nath Marg, considered "jinxed" in political circles, is slated for demolition.
•The property, dating back to the 1920s, was originally intended as the Delhi chief minister's official residence but has been largely unused for over two decades.
•Past occupants, including Chaudhary Brahm Prakash and Madan Lal Khurana, left office prematurely, fueling the "jinxed" reputation.
•Sheila Dikshit avoided living there, and the last full-time occupant, Deep Chand Bandhu, died in 2003.
•The government plans to redevelop the site into a new office complex to optimize land use and meet current administrative needs.
