Maharana Mewar Foundation Honors Achievers, Young Talent at 42nd Annual Awards
•The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation held its 42nd Annual Award Ceremony, recognizing excellence in human values, culture, service, and national achievement.
•Dr. Lakshyaraj Singhji Mewar announced the new "Maharana Arvind Singhji Mewar Award" in memory of his father, with Puneet Chhatwal as its first recipient.
•Awards included the Colonel James Tod Award to Dr. Molly Emma Aitken, Haldighati Award to Kamlesh Kishore Singhji, and Hakim Khan Sur Award to Sqn Ldr Rizwan Malik.
•Marimuthu Yoganathan, the "Tree Man of India," received the Maharana Udai Singh Award, and the Jet Airways Flight 9W 569 crew received the Panna Dhai Award for an emergency childbirth.
•Other honorees included Vedic scholar Devvrat Mahesh Rekhe, India's first transgender Sub-Inspector K. Prithika Yashini, Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, and para-athlete Avani Lekhara.
