8 Tatanagar Trains Shift to Adityapur: Major Operational Change Announced
- •South Eastern Railway has decided to shift the originating/terminating point of 8 trains (4 pairs) from Tatanagar to Adityapur station.
- •This move aims to ease congestion at Tatanagar station and enhance passenger convenience.
- •The change affects 6 Express and 2 Passenger trains, including Dhanbad–Tatanagar, Asansol–Tatanagar, and Hatia–Tata services.
- •Visakhapatnam–Tatanagar train will operate up to Adityapur until March 29, with the return journey departing from Adityapur from March 30.
- •While trains will still stop at Tatanagar, their official originating/terminating station and names will change to reflect Adityapur.
