Ranchi-Delhi Air Ambulance Crash: 7 Dead, Pilot's Parents Distraught at Site
•An air ambulance from Ranchi to Delhi crashed in Chatra district, Jharkhand, killing all 7 people on board.
•The aircraft, a Beechcraft C90 (VT-AJV) of Redbird Airways, was on a medical evacuation flight carrying a burn patient, Sanjay Kumar, along with two pilots, a doctor, a paramedic, and two family members.
•Communication and radar contact were lost at 7:34 PM after takeoff from Ranchi Airport, with the crash occurring in the dense forest of Karmatand or Kasaria Panchayat.
•The DGCA has ordered an investigation, with a team from the AAIB dispatched to retrieve the black box and determine the cause, potentially linked to bad weather and a diversion request.
•The parents of deceased pilot Vivek, who was their only son, have reached the accident site and are inconsolable.
