Giridih Laborers Escape Terrorist Captivity in Niger After 8 Months

  • They were working on the Kalpataru Transmission Line Project in Niger when terrorists attacked, killing security guards and other laborers, and taking six hostage.
  • The laborers were moved every 15 days, forced to cook their own food, and survived on dirty jungle water, constantly fearing for their lives.
