Kolkata Metro Boosts Services for PSC Exam & Festive Rush on Sunday!

• Kolkata Metro to start Blue and Green Line services from 8 AM on December 28, 2025, for PSC Clerkship (Part-II) exam.
• Blue Line will run 168 services (up from 130) with 8-minute intervals during peak afternoon (3:20 PM - 7:20 PM).
• Green Line will operate 131 services (up from 108) with 10-minute intervals during evening peak (4 PM - 8:30 PM).
• First services: Blue Line from Dakshineswar, Noapara, Shahid Khudiram at 8 AM; Green Line from Howrah Maidan at 8 AM, Salt Lake Sector Five at 8:02 AM.
• Yellow Line will have normal services; Purple and Orange Lines will have no services on this day.

Why It Matters: Metro increases services on Blue & Green Lines for exam candidates and festive crowds.
