Kolkata Metro to Run Special Services for India vs West Indies World Cup Match

• Kolkata Metro will operate special services on March 1, 2026, for the ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup match between India and West Indies at Eden Gardens.
• Two special metro services will run on the Blue Line from Esplanade–Dakshineswar and Esplanade–Shahid Khudiram routes.
• Both metros will depart from Esplanade Metro Station at 11:15 PM, stopping at all stations.
• Ticket counters will be open exclusively at Esplanade Metro Station for spectators' convenience.
• The initiative aims to ensure smooth transport and safe, comfortable, and affordable travel for spectators after the do-or-die match.
